Arizona Legislature "ALIS"
This link provides one the ability to review legislation as it is submitted. It also allows you to watch
the progress of a bill and watch hearings live. This site also provides the names and email links to
Arizona Legislators, which you can use to write to them.
Arizona State Government
"Arizona @ Your Service" is Arizona's government portal. It is the "official website of the state of
Arizona." It provides you with easy access to all agencies and state services, including the Arizona
Department of Health Services: Division of Behavioral Health Services
Arizona Administrative Register (AAR)
The AAR provides notices for rule changes and hearing. It is published weekly. You are able to
choose the date and then scan for the agency of interest.
Federal Government
FirstGov.gov provides a variety of helpful information: a topical index, online transactions, links to
state and local government, options to contact your government, and other tools. Also, you don't
have to know the name of the government agency to get the information you want.
NAMI
NAMI's national website includes information on advocacy, including NAMI's Legislative Action
Center. It also provides information about NAMI, mental illness, NAMI's programs, state and local
affiliates, etc.
Arizona Foundation for Behavioral Health
This website allows you to review Arizona's Legislature's bills related to behavioral health issues.
Analyses of the bills are provided. This site is updated to ensure that you have the most current
status of each piece of legislation.
